
As quoted in the local paper, Tania aims to be back on court in the New Year and pushing for a place in the England team for the COMMONWEALTH GAMES in Manchester. She said: ‘I have been in rehab at Lilleshall most of the time and I need to get myself fit because I have done no court work in the last four months.’
‘Hopefully in a couple of weeks’ time I can start training again. My ranking has gone down and it will probably get a bit lower.’
‘But I am confident I can get back into the top five and make the Commonwealth Games team.’
Highlight of 2001 was reaching a final in New York and achieving her highest world ranking of five.
